I love all food, but I must say that one of my absolute favorites is my mom’s pulled pork! When I found her old crock-pot in the basement and took it back to school with me, I literally could NOT wait to make it! Here is the recipe (note: it is not the pulled pork smothered in BBQ sauce, this is 10000x better…although probably not 10000x better for you).
3 – 4 LBS. BONELESS PORK ROAST CUT IN CHUNKS
4.5 CUPS CHOPPED ONIONS
½ CUP HONEY
½ CUP DARK MOLASSES
2 TSP. SALT
2 TSP. CELERY SEED
2 TBLS. WORCESTIRE SAUCE
¾ TSP. RED PEPPER
½ CUP GOULDENS MUSTARD
1 CUP CIDER VINEGAR
COMBINE ALL LIQUID INGREDIENTS IN BOWL AND BEAT TOGETHER OR WISK VIGOROUSLY.
PLACE PORK ROAST CHUNKS IN PAN. COVER WITH ONIONS. POUR ALL LIQUID INGREDIENTS
BAKE 325 DEGREES FOR 4 HOURS
PLACE IN CROCK POT FOR 8 HOURS ON LOW.
SHRED LETTUCE AND SPOON OVER. PLACE ON ROLLS.
